If the filtration system bolt turns black(look like rusted), it is not rust but coffee stains. This happens when you soak coffee in the container for a long time. It can be cleaned by soaking in acidic liquids (vinegar, lemon juice, etc.) for a while. Then the stain will fall off and revert back to a new look.
